The fifth annual Hueytown 10K/5K was a huge success! We set another record with 345 registered participants. We greatly appeciate all of our sponsors, volunteers and runners! 2009 Results
Since its inception the Hueytown 10K/5K has raised more than $25,000 for children in Western Jefferson County. Once again this year all age division winners will receive gift certificates to popular Alabama restaurants and the Trak Shak and every runner will run home with technical quick dry t-shirt and a goodie bag. NOTE: All proceeds go to local schools and children charities! The race staff is made up of volunteers, which means every penny earned goes straight to the kids.
